I'm sick and tired!

Actually quoting Maddie here. She's had a terrible few weeks at bedtime but Tuesday night topped the cake. Her complaint? "I'm sick and tired of my bed!" She offered no explanation as to why, nor did she have a solution for the problem. It was quite the show. My mommy inuition has no expertise in the sleep issues of toddlers, and I'm at a loss. I admit I have resorted to bribery. It's worked the last two nights, let's hope we're on a roll. Preschool starts again on Tuesday and a bedtime of 11:00 p.m. just doesn't work when she has to get up at 7:00 a.m.

Last night Maddie said her bedtime prayer, it was so sweet. "Please bless Grandma Pam and Grandma Nina that they will get better, please help Maddie sleep good and have a fun day tomorrow, please help her when she gets her babies too." I'm assuming she was talking about the twins. After she finished she said "Did I do a good job Mommy?"

My back has been bothering me a lot the last couple weeks. I finally called a chiropractor on Wednesday, it is too early on in the pregnancy to accept this amount of discomfort and pain for the duration! I went in yesterday for my first adjustment and it felt great. I also returned this morning. I think this spot in my back is so tender and sore that it will take a few more adjustments to get better. I am optimistic about the potential outcome and feeling better already!

Aaron starts his RN training next week with Intermountain Healthcare. He's been working as a patient care tech since graduation at Alta View Hopsital. The paycheck with almost full-time hours and a payraise was quite nice this week! We are really excited about the future. There are a lot of opportunities and good things ahead.
