Cami: "I can't believe me and Brie are related to the same people. Isn't that crazy?"
I told Cami and Brie to brush their teeth before going to school. Cami didn't want to. I asked her if she wants her teeth to rot. "What does rot mean?" Best parenting move ever? Pulling up some rotten teeth images on google. She said nothing and quickly went to brush her teeth.
Me: "No you can't have Halloween candy for breakfast!" Let me pour you a bowl of sugar loaded cereal instead.
The word of the day is crumby, pronounced crum-bee. That's how Cami is describing her voice today, she is a little congested. I love her made up words.
It probably wasn't a good idea to bring up the exotic animal story while the twins were walking with me down the street. Our neighbor's *tiny* dog barked and Cami took off screaming at mach 10 speed for our front door. This time I am the one that traumatized her. Usually it's Aaron.
Cami: "I had to sing the 'flower gleam and glow' song to get to sleep but it scared Brie."
Brie: "Yeah, I had nightmares all night long. Tell her she can't do that anymore."
This is part of the conversation I overheard between Cami and Brie about an hour after I put them to bed one night last month. They're so funny.
Cami: "I wish I knew how to skateboard."
Brie: "All you do is bend your knees and put your arms out and go."
Cami: "I just don't know - oh wait! Pixie dust!"
Brie: "Pixie dust is only for emergencies."
One of my favorites from LAST year
"Cami, would you like ham and potato soup or chicken and gravy over rice?"
"I just want rice."
"You can't just have rice, you need some protein."
"I don't like protein."
"Protein helps you grow."
"I don't want to grow, because you'll cry if I get older. I'm just going to stay 4, so I don't need protein."
