Each Christmas, starting with our first, we have purchased a Christmas book. We use the books as a sort of advent, this year is our our 9th Christmas since we were married and so we have 9 nights of books to read. Some are traditional Christmas stories like The Polar Express and The Night Before Christmas. Others are more religious in nature like When Jesus Was Born In Bethlehem and my favorite, The Last Straw.
Tonight Maddie chose The Last Straw as her bedtime story. I just love this book. I can't read it without getting emotional. I would love to be able to give this book to everyone who has made my journey a little easier this year. Since that is not possible, please take a minute to read this book if you ever come across it. I'm sure it will become a favorite for you, too!
