We had a busy but very nice holiday weekend. Saturday we had a BBQ at Lou & Kim's (Keegan & Jasmine) with Shaye & Emily (Parker and Kara), Mike and Trisha (Ryklee and Symbree). Shaye, Mike and Lou grew up in the same neighborhood that Aaron and I did and they've been friends since elementary school. We spent a lot more time together pre-kids, but we still manage to get together every 3 months or so. The kids really enjoy each other and had a great time with the Easter egg hunt. I have a few pics from the BBQ but none for the rest of the weekend. We stopped by Payless to get some white dress shoes for Maddie's Easter dress and then went home. We ordered pizza and spent the night hanging out watching TV.
We went to our home ward this morning for the Easter program that Aaron's mom directed and my parents were sang in. It was nice. After Sacrament meeting we went to Marie Callendar's with Pam, Drew and Grandma Nina. Good food and we managed to keep Pam out of the kitchen for the day, so that was good. After brunch we went back to Pam's for a couple hours and Adam and Jodi stopped by to visit. We headed over to my mom and dad's to finish up the chocolate bird nests that Maddie and my mom made on Friday night. Maddie and I delivered them to Amy and her kids while they were visiting their grandma and grandpa. We hung out at my parent's house until it was time to go to my grandparent's house for dinner. We were only there for a an hour and a half or so before we decided to get Maddie home to wind down for the night. The last two days have been busy with no real nap or down time. I'm ready for another weekend and tomorrow is Monday!!!
