What a relief! The last two days of waiting have been horrible for him, and when he's stressed and anxious he turns into a grumpy, irritable boy. Fortunately I've learned after nearly 8 years of marriage not to take it too personally and to just give him space. I'm so glad we got the news (and that it was great news!) after 2 days instead of a month!
I'm taking dinner to him tonight at work and also picking up a treat at Costco for all his co-workers at the ER so that he can celebrate with them. I haven't seen him since he got the results, I was at the doctor's office this morning for a glucose test when he texted me the message "I PASSED! I PASSED! I PASSED!" I didn't doubt his ability but he was convinced he had failed. I'm so happy for him, this is a huge accomplishment!
